"The New Enotourism: Instructions for Use."
With the 3 webinars "The New Enotourism: Instructions for Use," the Consortium for the Protection of Gavi offered wineries and hospitality operators in the appellation the opportunity to train, inform themselves and build immediate actions to be ready and competitive to welcome tourists and wine lovers, in accordance with the provisions related toEnotourism-recognized by law from 2019 with the Implementing Decree of the then MIPAAFT-and actualizing them in a post-covid key.
Wine tourism - proximity-based, affordable, integrated with the territory, with restaurants and hospitality facilities, with cultural heritage and local gastronomic productions - is now recognized as "the tourism of the restart." And the Gavi territory has all the right cards to practice it.
Experts on different topics provided practical instructions, supported by case histories with virtuous examples, and indications related to promotion and communication so that wine tourism becomes one of the strategic assets of wineries' activities. From the Italian and international scenario to new trends in wine tourism; from attention to safety in covid-19 key to administrative procedures and hospitality in the vineyard and winery, and connections with the territory. Communication, with attention to different off- and online tools, promotion and sale of the wine tourism experience in networks with tour operators, integration with e-commerce.
