Sustainable Wine Communication.
The Gavi LA BUONA ITALIA Award, promoted by the Consortium for the Protection of Gavi, aims to recognize and reward 'good practices' in the enhancement of Italian food and wine supply chains, in order to share them and foster the competitiveness of this crucial sector for our country's economy.
This ninth edition of the Award has as its theme THE COMMUNICATION OF SUSTAINABLE WINE and is dedicated to Wineries and Producers who show that they communicate with particular effectiveness their attention to issues of sustainability and social responsibility in the wine sector. Once again with the Gavi LA BUONA ITALIA Award we want to recognize the 'good practices' of the wine sector, in this case going to enhance the experiences of the Operators who in 2022 have implemented projects and undertaken practices of Sustainability, communicating to their various target audiences in an effective and transparent way actions, values and importance of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility.
Content and Evaluation Criteria
Three main areas of observation are considered, taking the Web as the exclusive scope and emphasizing that the focus of the Award is not only the quality of Producers' Sustainability policies, but the effectiveness of related communication:
- The sustainability and social responsibility practices implemented
- How sustainability is communicated and through what channels
- Transparency related to the communication of its Sustainability

Method of Participation in the Gavi La Buona Italia 2023 Award
To apply for the Gavi LA BUONA ITALIA 2023 Award, it is necessary to fill out the online questionnaire dedicated to Wine Companies either by following THIS LINK or by framing the QRCode
Alternatively, projects can be sent directly to the Organizing Secretariat of the Gavi Prize, indicating for each evaluation criterion the characteristics of their project:

The application deadline for the Gavi Prize 2023 is Sunday, January 2, 2023.
Short List and Award Ceremony
The Short list of 15-20 Producers will be voted by the Jury according to the parameters indicated in the Rules and Regulations and a single First Prize Gavi LA BUONA ITALIA 2023 and 3 Special Mentions will be determined. The Awards Workshop is scheduled to take place in Milan in March 2023.
