The new Gavi House
crowns the commitment and success of the entire Appellation
A multifunctional space to welcome producers, journalists, wine lovers.
Operational as of November 2, 2023, at 173 Via Mameli in Gavi.
More activities, more connections, more meetings, more visitors for the Gavi Appellation, which, with
great acceleration, is establishing itself both nationally and internationally. And more space,
designed in a functional and contemporary way: this is what the "new home" of the
Consortium for the Protection of Gavi.
Thirty years after its founding in 1993, the Consorzio Tutela del
Gavi gives itself a new headquarters, operational as of Nov. 2. Located in the central
Via Mameli at number 173 and finished after a long internal renovation, it will house the Consortium's activities
Consortium - administrative, promotion and protection - and the officials of Valoritalia, the body
deputed to the control and certification of Denomination of Origin wines.
The new headquarters will be officially opened next year in the presence of institutions,
on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Gavi DOC. It was June 26, 1974 when the
Cortese di Gavi was in fact awarded the controlled designation of origin, enshrining the identity and
quality of an unmistakable terroir.
