The Consortium for the Protection of Gavi

in collaboration with the MIA Milan Image Art Fair launches the initiative

Exploring Gavi- Author's images from Piedmont

For summer 2021.

Three cash prizes reserved for the 3 winning Artists

The Esplorare Gavi photo contest aims to promote the Gavi docg territory with art photography, telling and describing its distinctive features, landmarks, protagonists and different experiences that can be lived in this beautiful place.

The Award-dedicated to the territory of one of Italy's wine excellences-accompanies the trend that privileges, at this historical moment, in Italy and abroad, Oenotourism and more generally Food and Wine Tourism understood as the tourism of restart .

The territory of Gavi should be interpreted by the Award participants in such a way as to enhance its identity and peculiarities, through the three narrative modes that distinguish photography and that can be combined to build a unified narrative project to be carried out for participation in the Award.

The narrative modes considered are:

  • landscape photography
  • Still-life photography
  • Portraiture
