This is confirmed by the research "WINE TOURISM: WINE CONSORTIA AND THE TERRITORY." conducted by Bocconi University's Master in Tourism Economics in collaboration with the Consortium for the Protection of Gavi and The Round Table and edited by Prof. Magda Antonioli.

"Wine consortia can assume a central role in promoting the wine tourism sector in their territories, encouraging wine production and territorial marketing. Determinants are communication in the web - sites and social media - and professionalization of skills in hospitality.
