The 19th Lavagnino Festival for the Gavi flood victims. Proceeds from the evening in collaboration with the Gavi Libarna Rotary and the City of Gavi will also go to the construction of a computer room named after Matteo Gastaldo for the Gavi Middle School
The last Lavagnino Festival event of the year returns to Gavi, Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Civic Theater, 9 p.m., after the event was suspended in October due to the flooding that heavily affected the Piedmontese village.
And it is precisely to the rain-damaged population that the proceeds of the evening, which includes admission by donation, will go. With the contribution of the Gavi-Libarna Rotary Club, the City of Gavi and the Consortium for the Protection of Gavi, an additional sum will be donated for the construction at the Gavi Middle School of a computer room named after Matteo Gastaldo, the Gavi firefighter who tragically died, along with two colleagues, in the Quargnento arson attack.
